Hebrews

Hebrews 1 - In the past, God spoke to his people through prophets; in the last days, he spoke through his son, whom he appointed the heir of all things.

Hebrews 2 - Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are the same--Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.

Hebrews 3 - But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Hebrews 4 - God's word is alive & active; nothing is hidden from him. Hold firm to the faith you profess. Approach the throne of God with confidence.

Hebrews 5 - Solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Hebrews 6 - God is not unjust; he will forget your work. Jesus Christ became a high priest forever--he is the certainty of God's promise to us.

Hebrews 7 - The law appoints men who are weak as high priests; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who is made perfect forever.

Hebrews 8 - By calling the covenant Christ made "new," God made the first one obsolete; what is obsolete will soon disappear.

Hebrews 9 - The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves.

Hebrews 10 - The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves.

Hebrews 11 - Faith is having confidence in what you hope for and assurance in what you can not see.

Hebrews 12 - Endure hardship as discipline.

Hebrews 13 - Love each other as brother and sister; show hospitality to strangers. Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority.

Hebrews in 140 Characters - Encourage and love each other as brother and sister. God's word is active and alive. Endure hardship as discipline.
