Revelation

Revelation 1 - Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it.

Revelation 2 - Sins of churches...Ephesus: needs to return to God. Smyrna: Is too wealthy. Pergamum: some follow gods. Thyatira: follow false prophets.

Revelation 3 - Sins of churches continued - Saris: is spiritually dead; Laodicea: tries to hard to be politically correct.

Revelation 4 - John is brought before the thrones in heaven; in the center were four creatures: 1 like a lion; 1 like an ox; 1 like a man; 1 like a eagle.

Revelation 5 - An angel ask who is worthy to open the Seals & no one answers; John weeps because no one is worthy; then a lamb comes forward who is worthy.

Revelation 6 - Six of the seven seals are opened by the lamb.

Revelation 7 - 144,000 from the each tribe of Israel is sealed. A great multitude from every nation and language stood before the throne of the lamb.

Revelation 8 - Seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

Revelation 9 - John's visions continue; sees a future where four angels are released to kill a third of all mankind.

Revelation 10 - An angel appeared with a little scroll. He told John to eat it. It tasted as sweet as honey, but turned his stomach sour.

Revelation 11 - John sees a severe earthquake and 7000 people die; survivors give glory to God. Second woe passes, and third is to come.

Revelation 12 - A woman appeared that was clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet with a crown of 12 stars. Then war broke out in heaven.

Revelation 13 - A beast comes from the sea; and a beast out of the Earth. Let the person who has insight calculate number of the beast. That number is 666.

Revelation 14 - John sees the lamb standing on Mount Zion; with him are 144,000 who have his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

Revelation 15 - John sees a temple filled with the glory of God, but no one could enter until the seven plagues of the seven angels were complete.

Revelation 16 - John witness the Seven Bowls of God's Wrath; people curse God because they are so bad, but will not repent. 

Revelation 17 - John sees the prostitute of Babylon, who is drunk w/ the blood of God's people. Then woman is the great city that rules over Earth.

Revelation 18 - The is sorrow over the fall of Babylon, but also a warning to all to escape the fate of Babylon's judgment.

Revelation 19 - The Heavenly Warrior defeats the beast. On his robe and thigh it says: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

Revelation 20 - Satan is bound for a 1000 years; after 1000 years, he will be released and deceive nations; then he will be tormented forever.

Revelation 21 - John sees a new heaven and a new earth. In the new Jerusalem the Bride of the Lamb is waiting.

Revelation 22 -God said to John, "I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done."

Revelation in 140 Characters - John taken to heaven and shown prophecies of the end of the world. God tells him he is coming soon.

The New Testament in 140 Characters - Jesus came, wept, was killed, and rose. Jesus saves. Apostles preach and are persecuted. John sees heaven. The end will one day come.

2 John - This is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands.

1 John

1 John 1 - If we claim we are without sin, then we deceive ourselves; if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and forgives us.

1 John 2 - Don't sin. But if you do sin we have an advocate on our behalf in Jesus Christ. Whoever claims to live in Christ must live as Christ did.

1 John 3 - This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.

1 John 4 - God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God. We love because he 1st loved us. Whoever loves God must also love their brother and sister.

1 John 5 -  Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John in 140 Characters - Don't sin. But if you sin we have an advocate on our behalf in Christ. If we confess our sins, God forgives us. God is love.

2 Peter

2 Peter 1 - Make every effort to confirm your calling and election; if you do these things, you will never stumble.

2 Peter 2 - There are many false teachers in the world; in their greed they will exploit you with fabricated stories.

2 Peter 3 - Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

1 Peter

1 Peter 1 - With minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

1 Peter 2 - Submit yourselves for the God’s sake to every human authority. Christ suffered for you, leaving example for you to follow in his steps.

1 Peter 3 - Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing.

1 Peter 4 - Those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

1 Peter 5 - Humble yourselves under God and he will lift you up.

1 Peter in 140 Characters - Submit yourselves for the God’s sake to every human authority. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult.
